It was 1852. Back when life was sepia and a small brewery was founded on Main Street in Potosi, Wisconsin. Potosi Brewery survived prohibition and witnessed world wars and lunar landings until the increased presence of national beer brands forced closure in 1972. After an aggressive restoration initiative, the facility was preserved and reopened by the Potosi Brewery Foundation, a non-profit organization founded in 2000.
The foundation approached Mission Creative with the task of bringing luster back to the classic brand. A timeless brand architecture was crafted that conveyed Potosi Brewery’s rich backstory and an experience – down to the beer bottle in hand – that established it as a destination worth returning to for another 120 years.
